Communication, No?

hmmm.

think that people nowadays cannot reallie communicate with each other the 'real' way, i.e. face to face, anymore... think that the other forms of communication aren't really reliable.. or are they?

take MSN for example: you're feeling very sad, with tears rolling down your face, but when your friend asks about you, you can still insert a cheerful smiley and type 'haha' or 'hehe'..

or through SMS when people asks you questions.. your first reaction might be "what the hell?! !@#$%^&*" but you take some time to think over what your reply might be, and you're also able to correct your sentences as well..

even through the phone, u can force yourself to sound cheerful and act nonchalant when you actually feel like beating up the person at the other end of the line..

but you're not being true to yourself nor to others when you do these, are you?

That's why when i have important things to discuss with people, or important questions i would like to pose to them, i'd rather do it face to face.

This way, not only can i gauge their emotions from their facial expressions as well as body language, i am also able to get their first reaction, which normally is the most truthful one.. And not forgetting their eyes.. always the windows to one's soul..

therefore, isn't face to face communication the one only most reliable way?

that's how i feel anyway.
hmmm.
