H a p p i l y E v e r A f t e r ?

been egged to blog more.

suppose so, else blog would be sent to museum soon.

------------------------------------------------------

why are relationships so complex and difficult to understand?

thought that every (stable) relationship should be full of love, and will end up with a happily ever after..

did fairytales lie when they told about endless happily-ever-afters?

------------------------------------------------------

is it so hard to find someone you love, and have that person love you back?

is it that in every relationship, things will change and will not be like what they were in the past?

why is it that a relationship will get stagnant after some time, or have only one party maintaining the relationship?

when two very good friends get together and then break up, why is it that sometimes they don't remain friends anymore?

------------------------------------------------------

well, these things aren't happening to me, obviously.

just some thoughts that ran through my mind.

but it's really true that relationships get stagnant after awhile, don't they?

used to think that couple life was boring because there's not much to do in singapore but eat, watch movies, and eat (sommemore).

but then again, suppose that it takes effort to inject life and spice up the relationship.

like going on short trips, going to pulau ubin to cycle, go swimming together, or just hanging out under the canopy of stars.

hmmmm.

------------------------------------------------------

what should we really be looking out for in a partner at our age?

looks, age difference, maturity level, financial standings, a forseeable future together?

really don't know.

and, does it really matter?

------------------------------------------------------

never thought of relationships as that complicating.

always thought it was a simple case of two people loving each other.

of course, the happily ever after never hurts.

  6. well.
actually a r/s can be simple and not complex.
just now we are educated in a way that we demand more than we should.
i think when a r/s becomes complex and stagnant.
the main reason is the lack of commmunication between both parties.
it takes 2 hand to clap.
    and its how true.
when there is just a lapse of communication.
a minor issue will become a big issue.
    just like anything in life.
a r/s will never be the same.
during the process of a r/s.
both of them will matured and developed into a better/worst person.
    hopefully.
thus things will change no matter what.
when a r/s is only maintain by only one party.
its show that the couple doesnt communicate much too.
a heart-to-heart chat and stuffs will simply find out the root of the problem and thus.
    resolve the issue.
i believe constant communication is very important for a r/s.
    i agreed with you.
a little more effort will inject life into the r/s.
picnic by the beach/botanic garden on a lovely sunday.
cuddling in each other arms over at either one's place to watch dvd.
    blah blah.
such simple events can be enjoying.
    but at times.
either one of the couple wont like such ideas.
    so ya.
so they claimed that life in sg is boring.
    true to a certain extends.
    yap.
when you are in your teens.
you longed for a guy with good look and stuffs.
a support for you during your education period.
    in your 20s.
financial standings, stability and career blah blah are added.
    and of coz.
    maturity is always impt.
    yap.
and a r/s can be simple.
    dont think too much.
a little more effort to communicate with the other party is important.
    smile.

  8. Well, i think it's probably true that communication is key. but now i'm beginning to think that communication is not as easy as i always made it out to be. or perhaps i'm just twisting and turning it so it becomes complexed. I just think there are many things to consider, like the other's feelings and such..

Hmmm and a couple can try to do picnics and star-gaze but i think that sometimes a feeling lost will not be recovered so easily. you long to revisit sweet memories but it's just not the same anymore.

    you think?

  9. hmmmmm.

    wow.

such long comments from you guys..

i suppose nothing will be the same just like how in one week, doing the same thing twice with the same person at the same place will not feel the same; but i guess it's how u take it.

appreciating the other person's efforts in trying to make you happy will make you touched as well, won't it?

i really do think that communication is very important, but i also agree that it's not always as easy.

can you really tell your partner EVERYTHING you really feel without hurting his/her feelings?

well, i suppose it's not easy to do a simple thing like love.

    sometimes love just ain't enough?
